About a year and a half ago I did a Tigerclaw V.s. Scourge picture just like this, I was happy with the colouring but hated the art, and so I decided to re-do it and since people had asked me for a speedpaint of the old one I did one of the new one.

I still can't find a place to download the old Movie Maker from XP and so editing is very low on this video and ya. Sorry if it's to fast for some of you, it was hard to shove 6 hours of work into a 10 min video lol. I think for my new speedpaints I'll just crop the area where I'm drawing so you don't have to see the SAI side bars, it might make recording easier and a better video perhaps.

There are a few parts where I forgot to record so sorry if it gets jumpy in some area's of the video DX

StarClans Chosen | Part 10a for Nifty-Senpai

BlueMaroonAnimations 2022-06-20 | I have crawled out of my cave of retirement to bring you all one last MAP part... for now. I could not refuse taking a part in Nifty's MAP. I love her MAPs so much and its such an honor to be able to be in them!
It was a rough time getting back into hand drawn animation but I really enjoyed getting a chance to do it again. Now to go back into hiding for another 2 years as I have another baby on the way to take all my love and attention from animating lol
I had really hoped that I would be able to do more MAP parts again in the future but this one made me realize I just can't justify the time for it sadly. Maybe one day... I wonder if MAPs will still be a thing by then though haha
Sorry that my water mark is so in your face in this part, I forgot to set the blending mode to overlay. You will just have to wait for the MAP to see it without because I didn't want to render a 4K video again just for that *cries*

Thanks for those who joined me on my streams, it was so nice to talk to some old names and meet some new ones! You guys are truly the best and I appreciate you all for your support!

Final Confrontation: Firestars Final Flame | COMPLETE WARRIORS MAP

BlueMaroonAnimations 2020-11-22 | It's finally here everyone!
This MAP was a voice acted, storyboarded MAP based on Tigerstar and Firestar's final battle in Omen of the Stars:The Last Hope.

A big BIG thank you to the voice actors who volunteered their voices for this project. Firestar's lines were actually recorded around 6 years ago when I planned on doing this animation by myself, but I never did get around to it. I am glad to finally be able to put such wonderful animation to the acting.

I learned a lot from hosting this MAP. There are definitely things I would do differently in the future if I were ever to host a MAP again, but overall I think the result was still fantastic!

My Final MAP parts | Rut Part 9 | My Eyes Part 25

I really enjoyed working on this and being apart of this MAP. Everyone's parts are looking amazing and its going to be an awesome MAP when its finished! I tried a more textured line with this part and I don't really know if I like how it looked in the end. But overall I learned a lot with this part and had a blast streaming the progress with you all!

This part was done almost a year ago, I just never got around to uploading it. This was originally supposed to be a collab with meow 286, so I tried to match their style which is why is may remind you of their work. This part was an interesting experiment. I did the rough animation using tweening in Toonboom then cleaned it up traditionally. Not 100% satisfied with the result but it was fun to try.

Well everyone, its been a fun couple of years doing MAP parts here on youtube. I got to do all I wanted and more and I learned so much along the way!
However, all good things come to an end. In the next year I will be married and hopefully have a little baby growing in my belly. And with these growing responsibilities and new adventures awaiting me, doing MAP's, and keeping up with my online presence is just not going to be possible.

It is also time I try to distance myself from Warriors. Though it has given me so many opportunities to grow my fan base and explore art and animation, its also become a crutch that I lean on for my art. I find it so hard to come up with my own creative ideas that aren't Warrior's related and its really stifling my growth as an artist.
This sadly means a couple projects I have been working on may never be completed, I may still work on them but overall I just don't know if I will be.
My MAP "Firestar's Final Flame: Final Confrontation" Is still being worked on, and will be posted when finished.
I am not disappearing from youtube completely, you may see videos still here and there but they will be very rare.

I am also going to be taking a large step back from social media. My mind set in making art for the past couple years is "I have to make something so I can post it for people to see" which, in its self isn't terrible, but I hardly ever do studies or work on things that give me a chance to fail, and I need to bring back my love of just drawing for the sake of drawing.

This MAP is about Lionblaze and his struggle to control his power and how it has affected his life.

Gosh, I don't even have words to express how happy I am to finally see this finished! 99.99% finished at least. Please know, me and the one artist had an understanding that the one part wouldn't be fully finished in order for us to finally release this!

This is a dream come true to have this done, since this was an AMV idea I had back in 2009. I had tried to animate it myself back then and it did not work out that well lol

Woo look at that, a speedpaint! I tired something different for this one by having a fixed window and my drwaing screen in the corner. Why did I do this? Because I tried recording a speedpaint earlier this year and I noticed I zoom in and out so much that when you speed it up its nauseating to watch. So let me think what you guys think of this format!

Some of you may recognize some of these animations from my channel, however, I wanted to clean up my upload gallery so I decided to put all these animations into one video! There are a couple that I never shared in the past in here as well.

For such a short part, this sure took me long enough DX Sorry for the wait! I know I still have to due my Shiny MAP part as well. I had a lot of fun taking a break from warriors for this, something to be a little more challenging and new. I had fun experimenting with the camera moves and the effects animation, they don't look the best but I hope you like them!

After my Shiny part I will be taking a Hiatus from MAP parts to work on some personal work such as finishing my thesis film and working on a GG animated.

Demo Reel Intro Improvement

BlueMaroonAnimations 2017-04-01 | I recently redid my intro for my demo reel since I am graduating this year. I also want to turn it into a intro for my future videos. Crazy to see my improvement from 1st year to 4th year Animation. I'm pretty happy with where I've come.

Phew. Glad I actually got to take my time with this MAP. I would have liked to add a few spark effects at the end but I ran out of time since my winter break is now over.

I'm really proud of this animation, definitely one of my best ones yet. The fire effects aren't the greatest but they are passable. It was my first time animating fire before so I tried my best!

I wanted this one to be more dynamic so its a different angle then the other ones were.

Had a lot of fun with this. It was a nice distraction from my fourth year thesis film.. time to get back to storyboarding..

I got caught up in the technicals of toonbooms network shading and got a little disheartened at how it was turning out. I wish I could have put more detail into this but my computer probably would have exploded if I had tried TT___TT
None the less I'm pretty happy with the result overall. Just gotta keep moving forward!

This took me a couple days longer than I hoped and I'm still not 100% happy with it but I hope you like it!! I know Brightpaw's eye is supposed to be white but I figured since she was covered in blood I would make it red, hope that was okay! I can fix it if you like!

I also took part 9, it shouldn't take as long but now school is starting and I still work 2 days a week AND we are doing our group films this year so expect the next part closer to the deadline!

Hope you guys like this, I did a lot of experimenting with the effects and the BG characters. Overall I'm pretty proud of this piece!

Brightpaw's story always makes me sad :( This finished MAP is going to make me cry... lol

Animating all that blood was a... lot.. of work.. haha
Cloudpaw is supposed to be saying "Brightpaw" at the end there.

Always Gold| Part 9 for Nifty-Senpai

I'm really loving the new warriors series and I missed doing warriors art so I just had to do another MAP piece! Its been 2 years since my last one, I still really enjoy it! (which is why I started one of my own lol)

But gah my cat anatomy has gotten rusty... I had a really hard time with it :\

Animated in a week in between 2 jobs, pretty amazed at how fast it got done haha, then again I didn't spend 50 hours nit picking like I usually do..

I tried a couple new things with this piece. Went back to animating in TVPaint (which is soooooo much better then toonboom for frame by frame animation!) and tried some cool particle effects in After Effects. Also my first shaded animation.

Over all I'm pretty happy with the result, the timing is really bad in some parts since it is hard to smooth things out when some scenes are only a couple seconds long.

Hope you guys like it! After my next MAP piece Im going to be trying to do little animation exercises throughout the summer, I will compile them all at the end so you may not here from me for a bit.

If anyone knows of a good screen recorder that doesn't crash let me know T___T I don't care if I have to pay for it at this point.
I finished a red line for a person on deviant art http://bluemaroon.deviantart.com/art/Red-line-for-BaileyTrave-294993935 and I liked the outcome of the redline so i asked them if I could turn it into a picture of my own and they said yes so here it is!
I was tempted to make this another LeafpoolxCrowfeather picture but I already did one like that so i figured I'd do my other favorite forbidden couple.
I felt like I could have done better on the background, I kinda over did it. Oh well. The picture wasn't as big as I usually make mine so it was hard to get some good lines. But it was fun none the less.
