USA to Brazil: $185 round-trip for two Renata Pereira 2022-05-05 | This is how we traveled from the USA to Brazil spending US$45 per person to go all the way to the interior of the state of Sao Paulo. After using air miles for the flights with Delta Airlines, we only needed to pay the plane/airport fees and the domestic transport within Brazil. We ended up getting 4 modes of transportation - plane, train, subway, and bus - and taking 32 hours to reach the final destination, a city called Ribeirao Preto. It may seem a long time, but flying within Brazil would have only saved an hour due to the wait time for a connecting flight.This is a trip we do at least twice a year but never shared the details here on YouTube as we normally turn on the "vacation mode" to visit family. We start in La Jolla with the La Jolla Cove, the Children's Pool, the tidepools, and the La Jolla Shores. Then we stop at Pacific Beach, the well-known college party area of San Diego, and you'll see one of the most unique piers in the world: Chrystal pier. They have vacation rental cottages on the pier! We wouldn't miss another chance to stop at In-n-Out burger, so we did it on the way to Point Loma, in southern San Diego.
