I know this mod is not that popular, but I have to admit that I love it, and ever since I discovered this thing, I haven't played Doom without it. What I really love about it is that it has a lot of weapons, and it's totally over-the-top. Death is always around the corner, and most of the time it doesn't matter how much health/armor you have, you just meet a legendary enemy in the wrong place and you're dead in less than one second.
As always, the run is far away from perfect, there's some mistakes here and there, and also I make a big fuck up in E1M6 near the end, so I had to kill myself and start the level over. Note that there's also a little "bonus track" at the end, since the final fight with the Bruiser Brothers wasn't that exciting xD

Regarding the video itself, I must admit, as many of you have already stated in the comments, that there are quite a few mistakes here und there, like the "Moger Roore" reference, for instance, and also many missing easter eggs. I really don't think I'm going to release an updated video on this specific topic anymore though. Instead, I've just recorded a walkthrough of the whole game showing pretty much every secret/trick/easter egg shown in this video (apart from those that require cheating in order to be accessed). Here's the link in case you're interested:

Special thanks to Keith McLeod for his FAQ at gamefaqs.com, which is where I learned most of these easter eggs.
* = please note that I didn't include in the compilation any of the hidden messages meant to be seen using the night vision goggles, as they are not easter eggs, but give hints about ingame secrets.Mexican GeometridaeFernito692012-02-26 | Mexican Geometridae.

For my surprise, I was able to complete the episode on the first try, even not having studied the levels previously (hehe, my memory serves me well). I didn't like the playing though, so I studied the levels and re-ran it until I was happy with the result. Hope you enjoy it!

I've always thought that this game has an awesome and totally underrated OST (written by Bob Prince and Lee Jackson, BTW), so I finally decided to make an orchestral metal tribute to one of the tracks: "Shards" (rott23.mid).
It's very conservative in terms of structure and instrumentation, but I added some solos, a proper ending, and stuff.
Hope you enjoy it!

After many, many tries I finally was able to pull out this single-segmented, 100% secrets Doom II playthrough/walkthrough on Ultraviolence difficulty. I divided it up in 3 parts, of roughly 32 minutes each, to make it a bit easier to watch. First part goes from map 1 to 12, second part from map 13 to 20, and third part from map 21 to the grand finale.
Please note that this isn't a speedrun. It's just a playthrough of Doom II showing how to get all secrets and interesting places in the game. Also keep in mind that it's single-segmented, so the run is far-far away from perfect; I made some really embarrassing mistakes on it, like the one at the end of "Inmost dens" (map 14). Hey there! It's been a long time since I didn't upload a gaming video, so I decided to record myself playing throughout Ultimate Doom's third episode, "Inferno".
This is not a speedrun, it's just some kind of walkthrough, just for entertainment. I didn't focus on killing monsters or getting items, I just focused on getting secrets, but, as it's been AGES since the last time I played Doom, I missed some of them :( I also warn you that this run is FAR AWAY from perfect, I made some embarrassing mistakes throughout it, specially at the end of "House of pain" and at some point in "Limbo".
This run is single-segmented, and was played using only keyboard (no mouse involved!). I played using original DOS Ultimate Doom verson 1.9 under DOSBox.
Hope you guys enjoy it :)Sinapsis - IzkemiaFernito692010-11-24 | NOTA - poner en 480p para mejor calidad de audio.

As my other videos, this isn't a remix, but a cover (the same tune, just better sounding). Sorry for the bad video quality. I focused on the sound quality in the rendering because I didn't want it to be a too big file, or it'd have taken forever to upload haha.
Used FL Studio for sequencing, Superior Drummer 2.0 for the drums, Vanguard VST for the rest of the sounds, and my ear to get the melodies from the game xD

Thanks a lot to The Black Mamba, who told me that it was possible to push yourself into the blue key door and go through it. At first I thought this trick wouldn't be suitable for speedrunning because I needed the speed that only steroids could give me in order to not get squished in the door... but then I recalled the almighty pipebombs, which always save the day when you're out of steroids hehe!
It was 41 seconds on the game clock and 35,47 seconds according to the "real world" clock. Played on original DOS v1.5 of the game, recorded with DOSBox v0.72.

For those who don't know, this is a weird pipebomb glitch that only works in the early version 1.3d of the game. In order to perform this trick, you must throw the pipebomb in a very close angle with the wall. If the angle is close enough, the pipebomb will go through the wall and land in the room that's right behind.
It was a real pain in the ass to find the exact position where you must throw the pipebombs in order to blow up the cracks in this level haha. Hope you enjoy the video! The Sinking Old Sanctuary classical tribute - Castlevania: BloodlinesFernito692009-12-25 | I always loved the music of the Atlantis stage, so I finally decided to make my own classical tribute to it.
I tried to make it as faithful as possible to the original version. I did this by ear, so maybe there are some missing/wrong notes (specially on the high-pitched piano, which was a pain in the ass to hear BTW haha). I also added some extra things, but just details.
It was sequenced on FL Studio 8, and I used the samples from EW QL Symphonic Orchesta Platinum and Garritan Personal Orchestra.
Hope you enjoy it!
PS: If you want the track, just send me your e-mail address by PM and I'll send it to you.
PS2: This version has a biiig mistake in the bass at the intro, sorry for that! Anyway, if you want, I can send to you the corrected version.Glitch city dronesFernito692009-09-29 | For tutorial purposes.Lemmings - Taxing 27 - Call in the bomb squad with NO BOMBERS.Fernito692009-09-21 | OK, I'm aware that I'm not the first guy getting this solution, but at least I figured it out by myself :)
