I saw another version of Ritsu singing this, but I like the sound of this one, because the other one wasusing the KIRE bank, and this is his standard. I love the KIRE voicebank so much, but I find his standard to be very nice, too.
Some people like that, some people hate it. I chose to keep it that way because I enjoy the sound of it.

This has been sitting half-finished on my computer for months, and I finally finished it. Momo gets pushed a little outside of her range for a moment, but... I think thats okay. I really wanted to try to recreate some of the original PV.

this was a significant First for me in that i pretty much just had a midi to work from for the entire thing including the instrumental. the original artist shinku provided a midi and the original instrumental with all of the samples built in for covers, but i wanted to try sampling and making the cover more my own, so there was a lot more experimenting involved. i learned a lot of shit about my video editor, made the art myself, etc...
it definitely isnt perfect but i think it was cathartic because of the subject matter. i used some video clips from 1984 and a famous anti-propaganda film and all of the audio samples are from a documentary about how the government didnt give a shit about my community (the queer community ofc) during the aids crisis. its all very reflective of the political climate we live in today lol
so anyway i worked rly hard on this and if you have thoughts i would love to hear them. much love to shinku
