When a stolen vehicle was located in thick, impassable woods, we didn't go in blind. Our Real Time Information Center (RTIC) team deployed a drone to provide an overhead view, safely guiding officers through the dense vegetation to the scene.
As a result of this tactical advantage, our officers were able to successfully locate two individuals, both of whom were taken into custody on felony counts.
