I need to quote Luqualizer on beating The Last Straw: " this level is surprisingly fun besides for the first 20%". No. No, because this was really awful. I know it's personal opinion and such but I think if I had fluked it like he did I would have probably enjoyed it more. But crashing nearby the end, having to re-beat it, ... makes the woefulness of this level shine to the max.
3rd in the world to complete it after verification Metalface and Luqualizer but there's nothing to be proud of really. It's not that hard. If I didn't have to re-beat it and if I had figured out earlier the easiest way to pass the dual mini-ship/ball earlier I would have said this was no more than an Insane demon. This is just a difficult insane demon with poor gameplay and a dreadful difficulty balance.

This level have a really long story...
Let me tell you the whole story...!
2,5 years ago, early 1.9. I was with my friends at my old school, we were playing GD and my friend Angeloulou published Eternity and started working on Robotic Nightmare. Then I decided to build something with my own style. Was inspired from MaJackO!
Original song was Cycles. Then I started. I named the level Project XYZ, it was supposed to crush ICDX, ICZ, Necropolis and Deadly Clubstep. I knew I would never be able to verify a that hard level.
Angeloulou and another friend told me it was good and motivate me to continue, then 30% of the level were done! And, sadly, the level was suddenly stopped. I did not have enough building skills to continue what was supposed to be my masterpiece...
3 Months after I tried a new style and find it very cool! Then I modified my goal. I changed the music to Chaoz Airflow, and though Chaoz Fantasy was better...
Some weeks after the level was 60% done. I realized I would never finish the level legit... I was thinking of a way to hack it. So I decided to create a new player called RealKingPro, you are going to understand why. so I made a complete impossible part (copy pasted) for the last 40%.
The level was done, I uploaded it on my main account (it is still on the servers). I created the account RealKingPro, I copied the level and I launched Cheat Engine. Even with hacks I found the level too hard. I hugely nerfed it and put a secret way at the end with a very hard straight fly.
I changed the music into Intercept for no reason.
The level was verified and it was uploaded on the servers via the RealKingPro account (account doesnt exist anymore) and uploaded to YouTube with a great title. (Video here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ifiuKXw6VlE)
I realized it was easy.
And because I am a very good player (xdlol) I tried to rebeat legit this level. So I copied the level (the one uploaded on my account using a secret way, because the hacked one was deleted years ago.
I nerfed less than the hacked version and make the last secret way harder, 1.4 space fly instead of 1.5/6/7 (I dont remember well) and keep a big ship for the whole straight fly. instead of switching : Big, Mini, Big, Mini, ...
Unlike the hacked verison I did not nerf anything at the beginning and re-completed it. Fun fact : It is an easy demon.
If you want to know I hacked like 6 or 7 gameplays on my channel, videos are unlisted now. My goal was to make higher records or rebeat the level I used to hack in the past. So!
Silent Club 7% (HACKED) - Now 13%
Sonic Wave 14% and 19% - Now 36% (33% on a video)
Project XYZ 100% - Now 100% (Buffed version)
ICE Carbon Nation Preview I and II - Too lazy to rebuild the preview actually, will do it later dont worry.
Second fun fact : Im better without hacks.

A good demon to go again into the mood of beating insane demons. The gameplay was very unfun to me but I managed to beat this relatively easily, I had a lot of fails tho.

Hey there!
I know this is not really the content I promised for and all. But itll come soon. What is coming is like 30% done. Youll have to wait a few more weeks. Anyway this level is so fun to play. Possibily the greatest, or one of, layout Ive ever built. I was quite busy last night, I had an insomnia and I launched GD because why not I guess. And the only thing I wanted to play was one of my level. Why Devil Demence? you may remember my atrocious fail at 81%. At the easiest part of the level by the way. I wanted to beat this so much so yeah, now that its done I kinda have again nothing left that I like to do on GD. I could restart playing The Hell Factory but this level is not that fun. Even thought I have 88% on it. Anyway, no Im still not enjoying this game. I think my time has come but theres a few more things I want to do so stay tuned!

This level has some sketchy timings but its overall very pleasant.
About the title, I based it on the GDPS members opinion about the list being that Extreme Demons starts right about where Sweat Spotlight is.
If you ask me its a high end Insane Demon but oh well, I guess if you compare it to New Cataclysm it is indeed harder so I guess it can be considered a very low end Extreme.
Also yeah second demon of the day, by the way Ive got an idea for a great long video that should peak the interest of the community which I hope to get done in not too long

this was both fast and long at the same time as well as fun and irritating. The level is incredibly poorly balanced but for once metalface made most of the level fairly enjoyable, the rage mostly came from huge skill issues from me

A word about the level: play it if youre confident in your abilities but its at your own risk. I suggest you not attempt it AT ALL if that would enter your top 5 hardest demons completed. Wait until youve done much harder so youll complete it in a breeze.

No clue if that still is extreme lmao. Wasnt that difficult anyway, like, it took me about 1000 attempts and roughly 2 days, furthest crash was 67. I had like 2500 attempts done around a year and a half ago with an 88 fail. I dont really know either if the new G502 (I had one sitting on the shelf) helped or if I was just being trash back then.
Ive played Phobos a bit aswell and it aint so difficult, however that level really is trash. I dont know whenever Ill beat something relatively difficult with college starting next monday.
