The cycling conditions got EXTREME on stage 2 of the Haute Route Pyrenees with rain and thunder forcast on top of Aubisque. We started the race already wet and this only got worse...
This is my experience of the Haute Route Pyrenees 2022. Haute Route is the hardest and most complete multi day event you can ride as an amateur cyclist. The stages are very similar to the Grand Tours of World tour Professianal cycists. In this event we raced 5 stages in 5 days, 627km and 15.700m of elevation, starting in Biarritz and ending in Saint Lary.
