Behind closed doors across the UK, an estimated 1 in 20 people are living with a severe mental health condition kept entirely secret from the world: compulsive hoarding. In this compelling documentary, presenter Jasmine Harman meets 79-year-old former chemical engineer Jeff, whose secret 20-year hoard was only uncovered when police breached his home. Facing a strict 42-day clearance deadline from the local council, Jeff must decide whether to confront the psychological trauma keeping his heart "walled off" or risk losing everything. Meanwhile, in East London, 69-year-old Jean risks official intervention as her overwhelming hoard prevents her from living in her own flat or visiting her family.
