Extreme Body Slide: Tanzanian Twister Kalahari Indoor Waterpark Poconos
Tanzanian Twister is a thrilling body slide bowl that spins riders around before dropping them into a deep pool below. This is an extreme body slide that I find to be super fun! I always enjoy when indoor waterparks feature the body bowl slide. Kalahari in the Poconos really is one of the best indoor waterparks in the United States and is a place I cannot wait to get back to.

Take a ride down both sides of Soaky Mountain waterparks newest slide: The Edge.
This racing Whitewater slide features three massive drops and some awesome light elements inside the tubes. Oh and did we mention this is all before climbing a massive wall in a competition to see who can reach the highest point and go over the edge.

We highly recommend making a visit to Soaky Mountain Waterpark for their amazing collection of slides and rides. The park is located adjacent to the Wilderness at the Smokies waterpark resort that features an indoor waterpark and TWO other outdoor waterparks in addition to Soaky Mountain. You do not need to stay at the resort to experience this waterpark. Tickets are very affordable and are a great value for how many amazing slides they offer. ( plus an action river with massive waves, wave pool, flowerier surf machine, action adventure water obstacle course, and great kids areas )
The waterpark is located abut 35-45 minutes outside of Knoxville TN and is located in the highly visited Pigeon Forge TN attraction hotspot. The area features attractions such as Wilderness, Dollywood, The Island, Annakesta, and more. Soaky MT is a must stop on your next visit to the Great Smoky Mountains.

One of the best small towns just got something big; Bavarian Blast is now open at the Bavarian Inn.
Located in the charming German inspired town of Frankenmuth, Michigan, Bavarian Blast is a cutting edge indoor waterpark with 10 slides for the whole family and 5+ kids slides in their awesome German themed kids play area.
You can stay, play, and dine all at one location at the Bavarian Inn. The Inn includes 2 indoor water parks ( Bavarian Blast, and their indoor pool and slide complex with a speed slide and an indoor probowl tube slide ) an indoor ropes course, giant arcade, multiple bars and restaurants, Michigans ONLY swim-up bar for adults, and direct access to the town of Frankenmuth.
Slide down a unique collection of slides including; a double laned mat racing slide where you can see your race the entire time, a double racing tube slide with incredible Aqualucent elements, a tube slide with high g turns and more Aqualucent elements, 4 family friendly body slides that feature fully transparent sections, a giant tipping bucket in the form of a CuCu Clock, and a family raft slide with drops, Aqualucent elements, and more surprises.
The park also features cabanas for rent, a wave pool, lazy river, hot tub, swim up bar, water play area with basketball, and an outdoor pool.
Stay at the lodge or buy a day pass to the park. Parking is available on site, and the waterpark is fully attached to the hotel with no needs to brave the elements if traveling from your room. To access the waterpark from the hotel you travel downstairs to the arcade and then back up to Bavarian Blast.
