One of my honeybee hives died last fall. It appears the queen died because there were several queen cells being made. The worker bees died out and left about 60lbs of capped honey. I ordered another 3lb package of bees and wanted to reuse the frames/foundation. I figured I would extract the capped honey and leave the uncapped honey for the new bees to clean up.

This video shows how I extracted the honey and processed the wax cappings into candles.
