Did you know there are "top" orgs out there in Star Citizen right now using a third party program to give them a perfect crosshair that will tell them where their shots go every time they pull the trigger? What if I also told you these same "top" orgs are using the same program to see players almost perfectly even in the darkest of environments? What if I also told you this third party program was *whitelisted* by CIG?
I am talking about ReShade of course. A lot of players use it, and when you get killed by someone using it, you can come to no other conclusion than that player was cheating. And while the program may not be a cheat, it's certainly being used in the exact same way.
In this video I take a close look at this program and how it's being used. I demonstrate the difference it can make in real time. While I don't use this program myself, and I don't think the people using it need to be banned, the use of ReShade certainly brings up a number of problems that CIG needs to address, and quickly.
