In this video I expose the most ridiculous e-bike law in the Uk. E-bikes like the Surron and Talaria are notoriously renowned and labeled as bikes that are used by gangs, drug dealers and thieves. This partly due to off road Surrons and Talarias being used on the road illegally. But there is a law in place that allows these e-bikes to be used legally on the road with having to have indicators, lights, brake lights and mirrors! The daytime MOT is in place to allow e-bike riders to be able to legal ride on the road with no light, indicators, brake light or mirrors. Now with all the ridiculous laws we have in the Uk, This e-bike law has to be up there. If you are caught in a car driving a car with a brake light out or a faulty headlight, you can be subject to a £60 fine. However, you can ride your e-bike with the bare minimum.
