This week many mainstream media outlets and thousands of social media commentators, both domestically and abroad, pushed the sensational story that many white refugees are allegedly returning to South Africa from the USA. Others pulled out every trick in the book to create that false impression, to avoid being caught outright lying. However, all it took was a basic level of investigation to determine this claim to be a total fabrication.
