Step-by-step guide to getting your Blender videos into After Effects.

After Effects is a really powerful compositing tool which does loads of cool things, but it's not a 3D package. Since Adobe CC was introduced Cinema4D Lite has been bundled with it, but this is hugely limited. Blender is free, open-source 3D software which has lots of potential, but it has a steep learning curve. I've created a series of videos to cover the basics of using it from the perspective of an After Effects artist.

In this video, I'm going to walk you through the steps that you need to render out your videos. Some of the steps are not obvious (alpha channel transparency, I'm looking at you! ).
