San Pedro Sunken City

In the early 1920's Developer George Peck built a set of exclusive homes and bungalows for people who wanted to live with a beautiful cliff-side view of the Pacific Ocean looking out over Catalina Island. Everything had gone according to plan until A large area of land abruptly slid into the sea. This spurring the promp evacuation of those who had been peacefully residing in the community.
