Northampton Museum and Art Gallery created their  Power of the Portrait exhibition by exploring themes of symbolism, status, identity and reason. Drawing on their own Collection and loans from the National Portrait Gallery, it includes 16th century oil paintings, sculpture, early photography and modern-day ‘selfie’ portraits. This film is an ART DOCS production.
