Forgotten Watchtower in Bruton Somerset ! Regarded by most as a Dovecote a not so obvious history that is significant in the area. Once surrounded by the Selwood Forest now surrounded by the Town and has become an iconic image used on the Town sign and other items.
Bruton now is a very wealthy town in Somerset and a favoured place to live by various famous personalities and has a deep history connected with Royal lands and the Church. I explore the history of the Tower / Dovecote with a feet on the ground visit-I hope you will enjoy this video?
