Firstly we start up the day with some Route 66 attractions. Richardson's Trading Post and El Rancho Hotel. Continuing on our way to the next destination, we made a quick stop in at the Bowlin's Continental Divide Trading Post which we did some interesting shopping. We make our way out to the Chaco Canyon Historical National Park to discover that the road (HWY 57) leading out to it was not what we expected. DIRT! We endured that rough road for over 20 miles. When we eventually got there it was worth the suffering of rattling plates and things falling out of cupboards but we defiantly don't recommend driving that road in an RV but it is do able! We had so much fun exploring the ancient ruins of Chaco Canyon "the Machu Pichu of America" and hope it inspires someone else to make the journey out there. Its defiantly a once in a lifetime bucket thing, we say once in a lifetime due to that rough road out haha! Thanks again for watching!
