Placencia is known for it's beautiful sandy beaches, laid back ambience where the locals go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your visit. While we were there we rented a golf cart from Captain Jak's so we could do our own exploring of the peninsula. We discovered some great spots to grab a bite to eat along with a drink or two and since Placencia holds the Guinness Book of World Records for the narrowest main street pedestrian sidewalk in the world, we definitely had to check that out!
