For this update, I thought that I'd take a look back to last spring when I was acquiring 90s / early 00s Metallic HC, Chaotic HC, pre mainstream Screamo, etc..CDs like it was my job. In addition, I pulled a huge stack of my favorite LPs from the early 90s that I felt exemplified the evolution of hardcore during that period, from a fast 3 and 4 chord punk inspired attack, into far darker and more complex territories.
