Highway 395 in Washington stretches for 277 miles from the Oregon state line all the way to Canada, travelling through some of the most populated areas along the entire route.
Washington is also the birthplace of U.S. Route 395, as it started as a highway linking Spokane to the Canadian border, before being extended south all the way to San Diego, California in 1934.
As we travel through Washington, we stop in towns big and small to take a look at the region's history, exploring places such as Sacajawea State Park, Palouse Falls, Spokane's Riverfront Park, and Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area.
