Exploring El Yunque - Tropical Rainforest in Puerto Rico
We had a day off from a work convention and decided to take a trip up to El Yunque, which is located in Puerto Rico. It is the only tropical rainforest in the U.S. forest system. Only a short 45 minute drive from popular San Juan (or only 20 minutes from our hotel in Rio Grande), it affords a great hiking opportunity up to El Yunque Peak, which offers amazing views of both sides of the island.
