In this episode we're exploring an abandoned hospital built by the Wismut company in East Germany. This group of buildings opened in the 1960s to provide care for the company's employees working in the uranium mines. Upon the reunification of Germany, the facility was merged with a nearby municipal hospital. It was used for medical services until 2015. After it became a shelter for refugees until 2018. It has been vacant since.
