A rare Somerset Hillfort defended by rock and river providing a stronghold for the Iron Age builders and those that followed them. Now engulfed in woodland I visit the area to view the fort with a feet on the ground history exploration . Finding many things I had not anticipated in this area a true small adventure in history !
