While on board the Royal Caribbean Explorer of the Seas cruise ship we went up to deck 14 to create a full in-depth tour of Izumi. This cruise ship Japanese specialty restaurant is situated adjacent to the Viking Crown Lounge, Dizzy’s and the Crown Lounge. Izumi on the Explorer of the Seas offers arguably the best views of any Izumi you’ll find on another ship with its sweeping floor to ceiling windows and unobstructed views. This Asian-inspired dining experience features traditional Asian cuisine with fresh ingredients. If you chose to dine at this Explorer of the Seas specialty dining restaurant you can choose from sushi rolls, sashimi, Hot Rock (Ishiyaki) plates, sukiyaki and much more. Although there is an up-charge for this restaurant, many cruisers say that it is well worth it.
