Sonya Hollins, founder of the Merze Tate Explorers, received the Michigan Afterschool Partnership Mary Sutton Leadership Award. The award was presented virtually during the organization's virtual conference on January 26, 2022. The students nominated Mrs. Hollins for her innovative style of providing an out-of-school education experience like none other.
