Watch Zack Giffin of "Tiny House Nation” build an energy-efficient, 170-square-foot house with innovative, plastic building materials. Then watch as he takes it on the road from Colorado to Pittsburgh: youtu.be/cUCm5TAOr5E

Giffin shows that advanced insulation made with plastics can help any house – tiny or not – significantly improve energy efficiency and reduce its environmental footprint. This tiny house uses innovative plastic insulation and sealants to form a continuous thermal barrier - which create a tight building envelope to improve energy efficiency and lower heating and cooling costs. The house even has tough, plastic solar shingles to protect the roof and provide power to go off-grid!
