This drone video was shot at the IGS Crop Research Centre at the James Hutton Institute near Dundee, Scotland.

The video shows the exterior of the facility (25m wide x 12m long x 10m high) containing four vertical farming Growth Towers and an airlock entry system.

In this environment, IGS uses Total Controlled Environment Agriculture (TCEA) to manage each element of the crop growth cycle and all environmental inputs. The vertical farming system allows customers to grow crops in a clean environment with zero pesticides, fungicides and herbicides, while reducing power and labour requirements.
