Les Mystères du Nautilus, translated as The Mysteries of the Nautilus, is a walkthrough attraction located beside Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain in Discoveryland at Disneyland Park. Designed by Walt Disney Imagineering, the attraction opened on 4th July 1994 and takes guests through a recreation of Captain Nemo's Nautilus submarine.
The entrance resembles a lighthouse beside the Nautilus lagoon, leading through an underwater corridor into the submarine. Inside are six main areas including the Ballasts Compartment containing Nemo's collected treasure, Captain Nemo's Cabin, the Charts Room, Diving Chamber, Salon and Engine Room.
Les Mystères du Nautilus underwent an extensive refurbishment before reopening on 1st July 2023. One of the biggest changes was inside the Salon, where the original giant squid attack was replaced with underwater scenes featuring marine life including dolphins, hammerhead sharks, humpback whales and sea turtles.
The Nautilus is based on Jules Verne's 1870 novel Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas and Disney's 1954 film 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea starring James Mason as Captain Nemo. The attraction recreates the distinctive Victorian submarine design created for the Disney film and continues Discoveryland's strong connection with Jules Verne and nineteenth-century visions of science, exploration and the future.
The attraction was originally conceived as part of the much larger Discovery Mountain project. Plans included an extensive indoor complex incorporating attractions and even an underwater restaurant, but the project was reduced in scale and eventually developed into Space Mountain, which opened in 1995.
Discoveryland is Disneyland Paris's retro-futuristic interpretation of the traditional Disney Tomorrowland concept. Inspired by science, invention and exploration, attractions in the area include Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain, Star Tours: The Adventures Continue, Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast, Orbitron and Les Mystères du Nautilus.
Disneyland Park opened as Euro Disneyland on 12th April 1992 and includes Main Street, U.S.A., Frontierland, Adventureland, Fantasyland and Discoveryland, centred around Sleeping Beauty Castle, Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant.
Disneyland Paris is to the east of Paris and includes Disneyland Park, Disney Adventure World, Disney Village and Disney Hotels. [4K] Captain’s Sea Adventure in Thomas Land at Drayton Manor, join us for a full ride on this spinning Thomas & Friends boat ride as we set sail around Captain’s harbour in The Island of Sodor.
Captain’s Sea Adventure is a Thomas Land water themed flat ride at Drayton Manor Resort, located inside Europe’s only Thomas Land. This spinning boat ride lets guests board one of the boats for a sea adventure, with the boats rotating as they travel around the water themed ride area.
Captain’s Sea Adventure opened in Thomas Land in 2015 as part of the major Thomas Land expansion, alongside other attractions including Flynn’s Fire Rescue and Toby’s Tram Express. The ride was manufactured by Zamperla and is based on the Watermania ride system, combining spinning motion, boat style ride vehicles and Thomas & Friends theming.
The ride is themed around Captain, the lifeboat character from Thomas & Friends. Captain is part of the Sodor Search and Rescue Centre and is known for helping with rescue missions around the Island of Sodor.
Thomas Land at Drayton Manor officially opened on 15 March 2008 on the former site of Robinsons Land. The area expanded on 8 April 2015 with more Thomas & Friends attractions and Sodor themed areas. Thomas Land is included with Drayton Manor admission, with no separate charge for the land itself or the rides inside it.
Thomas Land features over 25 rides and attractions based on Thomas & Friends and The Island of Sodor. Popular rides include Thomas, Rosie & Percy Engine Tours, Troublesome Trucks Runaway Coaster, Cranky’s Drop Tower, Harold’s Helicopter Tours, Jeremy Jet’s Flying Academy, Blue Mountain Engines, Winston’s Whistle Stop Tour, Thomas & Percy’s Submarine Splash, Flynn’s Fire Rescue, and Toby’s Tram Express.
Thomas & Friends is based on The Railway Series books created by Reverend Wilbert Awdry, with the first book published in 1945. The Thomas & Friends television series first aired in 1984 and helped turn Thomas, Percy, James, Gordon, Henry, Toby and the wider Sodor cast into globally recognised characters.
Drayton Manor Resort is located near Tamworth in Staffordshire and includes Drayton Manor Theme Park, Thomas Land, Drayton Manor Zoo and the Drayton Manor Hotel. The resort has grown from a family run theme park into a major UK attraction with themed areas including Adventure Cove, Vikings and Frontier Falls.

Swarm Supplies is located near The Swarm wing coaster in Swarm Island at Thorpe Park, offering a focused range of Swarm themed merchandise, souvenirs and essentials. The shop stocks The Swarm clothing including t-shirts and hoodies, along with mugs, keyrings, pin badges, drinks and collectibles inspired by the ride’s apocalyptic theme. Swarm Supplies serves as the main retail point for The Swarm and Swarm Island. Annual Pass holders can receive discounts at the till.
The Swarm opened in 2012 as the UK’s first wing coaster, manufactured by Bolliger and Mabillard. Riders are seated on either side of the track, creating an exposed ride experience as the train navigates five inversions including a dive drop and zero-g roll. The ride reaches speeds of around 59 mph and is known for its near-miss elements, passing close to a crashed aircraft, emergency vehicles and structural debris.
Swarm Island is a dedicated themed area built around a post-apocalyptic alien invasion storyline. The area features detailed scenery including destroyed buildings, wreckage and fire effects, all designed to simulate the aftermath of an attack by an unknown force known as The Swarm. It remains one of the most visually distinctive areas at Thorpe Park.
Thorpe Park Resort in Surrey, operated by Merlin Entertainments, continues to develop its attractions and infrastructure. The Launchpad, located in the former Amity Beach area, is progressing as a new space designed to provide seating, shaded areas and additional guest facilities. The park remains a leading UK destination for roller coasters including Hyperia, Nemesis Inferno, Stealth, Saw The Ride and Colossus, alongside seasonal events such as Fright Nights.

[4K] Marshalls Firetruck Rescue at Chessington World of Adventures, join us for a ride aboard Marshalls bright red firetruck as it rocks and rolls through Adventure Bay in the World of PAW Patrol.
Marshalls Firetruck Rescue is a family flat ride located in World of PAW Patrol at Chessington World of Adventures Resort. The attraction follows a rescue mission with Marshall after a kitten finds itself in need of help. Riders climb aboard the red firetruck before rocking backwards and forwards through the streets of Adventure Bay as Marshall responds to the call.
The ride is manufactured by Zamperla and has a long history at Chessington. It originally opened in 2001 in Beanoland as Bash Street Bus before moving to Wild Asia in 2010, where it operated as Jungle Bus. Following the closure of Wild Asia, the attraction was relocated and rethemed for World of PAW Patrol, reopening in 2026 as Marshalls Firetruck Rescue.
Guests must be at least 0.9m tall to ride, with those between 0.9m and 1.1m accompanied by an adult aged 16 or over seated in the same row. Each row accommodates up to four guests, with a maximum of three adults per row. The maximum height restriction is 1.95m.
World of PAW Patrol opened at Chessington World of Adventures on 3 May 2026 as the UKs first and only fully themed PAW Patrol land. Adventure Bay is home to Marshalls Firetruck Rescue, Chases Mountain Mission, Skyes Helicopter Heroes and Zumas Hovercraft Adventure. Rubble and Rockys Playzone provides additional play areas, while guests can also meet PAW Patrol characters.
PAW Patrol is an animated television series centred around Ryder and his team of rescue pups who work together to protect Adventure Bay. Marshall is the teams Dalmatian firefighter and medic, Chase is a police pup, Skye specialises in aerial rescues, Zuma handles water rescues, Rubble works in construction and Rocky focuses on recycling and repairs. The series was created by Keith Chapman and first launched in 2013, expanding internationally through television, films, toys, live productions and attractions.
Chessington World of Adventures Resort combines a theme park, zoo, SEA LIFE aquarium and themed resort hotels. Originally established as Chessington Zoo in 1931, the theme park opened in 1987 and now features more than 40 rides and attractions across themed areas including Adventure Point, Wild Woods, Land of the Tiger, Forbidden Kingdom, Shipwreck Coast, World of Jumanji and World of PAW Patrol.
Popular Chessington attractions include Vampire, Dragons Fury, Mandrill Mayhem, Tiger Rock, ZUFARI: Ride into Africa, Croc Drop and The Gruffalo River Ride Adventure. Further development continues with Minecraft World scheduled to open in 2027 on the former Wild Asia site.

Alongside the Pit Lane Hype Show, families can take on the LEGO F1 Brick Stop Challenge, build and test their own LEGO race cars, meet the LEGO Pit Crew and celebrate on the winners podium. The area also highlights F1 Academy, helping inspire the next generation of racing talent.
The LEGO Festival returns to LEGOLAND Windsor from 20 July until 31 August 2026, bringing exclusive live shows, interactive experiences, building activities and LEGO characters to the resort. New for 2026 is the LEGO Pokémon Play Zone, while returning favourites include the Music Zone, Creative Zone and Chill Out Zone, all included with standard park admission.
The LEGO Festival celebrates the creativity and imagination that LEGO has inspired since the company was founded in Billund, Denmark in 1932. Today, LEGO is one of the worlds most recognisable toy brands, with themes ranging from LEGO City and NINJAGO to Formula 1, Pokémon, Star Wars and many more.
LEGOLAND Windsor Resort first opened on 17 March 1996 as the second LEGOLAND park after LEGOLAND Billund. Flynn’s Fire Rescue is a Thomas Land ride at Drayton Manor Resort, located inside Europe’s only Thomas Land. This interactive fire engine ride opened on 8 April 2015 as part of the Thomas Land expansion, alongside Toby’s Tram Express and Captain’s Sea Adventure.
The ride is themed around Flynn, the fire engine from Thomas & Friends and the Sodor Search and Rescue Team. Guests board one of Flynn’s fire engines before travelling around the ride area and using water jets to aim at the burning building. Flynn’s Fire Rescue combines a moving ride with an interactive water element, making it one of the more hands on attractions in Thomas Land.
Flynn’s Fire Rescue is a Zamperla Fire Patrol style ride, designed around rotating fire engine vehicles and water targets. Guests under 0.9m must be accompanied by an adult, making it a classic Thomas Land attraction for guests exploring The Island of Sodor at Drayton Manor Theme Park.
Flynn is one of the rescue characters from Thomas & Friends, working alongside characters such as Captain and Harold as part of the Sodor Search and Rescue Centre.
Thomas Land at Drayton Manor officially opened on 15 March 2008 on the former site of Robinsons Land. The area expanded on 8 April 2015 with additional Thomas & Friends rides and Sodor themed areas. Today, Thomas Land includes over 25 rides and attractions, including Thomas, Rosie & Percy Engine Tours, Troublesome Trucks Runaway Coaster, Cranky’s Drop Tower, Harold’s Helicopter Tours, Jeremy Jet’s Flying Academy, Blue Mountain Engines, Winston’s Whistle Stop Tour, Thomas & Percy’s Submarine Splash, Toby’s Tram Express, Captain’s Sea Adventure and Flynn’s Fire Rescue.
Thomas & Friends is based on The Railway Series books created by Reverend Wilbert Awdry, with the first book published in 1945. The television series first aired in 1984 and helped make Thomas the Tank Engine, Percy, James, Gordon, Toby, Flynn and The Island of Sodor known around the world.
Drayton Manor Resort is located near Tamworth in Staffordshire and includes Drayton Manor Theme Park, Thomas Land, Drayton Manor Zoo and the Drayton Manor Hotel. Step into the magical streets of Diagon Alley in this full walkthrough of one of the most detailed and recognisable sets from the Harry Potter film series. During the 2026 First Year at Hogwarts event, guests can explore the famous wizarding shopping district where Harry first entered the magical world in Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone. New interactive displays have been added to selected shop fronts, allowing visitors to trigger magical effects and bring parts of the street to life as they explore.
The Diagon Alley set constantly evolved throughout the Harry Potter films. Since its original construction, walls were moved, shop fronts redesigned, and entire buildings adjusted to create the version of the street seen across the series. Many of the buildings were also re-dressed and reused as Hogsmeade for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
As you stroll down the cobbled street, youll pass famous wizarding locations including Ollivanders Wand Shop, where Harry purchased his first wand, Weasleys Wizard Wheezes, Flourish and Blotts, Eeylops Owl Emporium, Quality Quidditch Supplies, and Gringotts Wizarding Bank. The incredible detail throughout the set showcases the craftsmanship that brought J.K. Rowlings Wizarding World to life on screen.
The First Year at Hogwarts event runs from 7th May to 7th September 2026 and celebrates the 25th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone. Throughout the Studio Tour, guests can discover original props, costumes, interactive experiences, and displays inspired by Harrys first year at Hogwarts, including Fluffy, Wizard Chess, the Great Hall House Cup celebration, and the new Secrets of Sound Effects show.
Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter opened in 2012 at Leavesden Studios, where all eight Harry Potter films were produced. The attraction showcases authentic sets, costumes, props, creature effects, and filmmaking secrets from the Wizarding World. Similar Studio Tour experiences can also be found in Tokyo and Hollywood.
Leavesden Studios is also home to the upcoming HBO Harry Potter television series. [4K] Toby’s Tram Express in Thomas Land, join us for a full ride on this spinning and tilting Thomas & Friends attraction as Toby rises into the air and above Thomas Land at Drayton Manor.
Toby’s Tram Express is a Thomas Land ride at Drayton Manor Resort, located towards the back of Thomas Land near Blue Mountain Engines, James and the Red Balloon and Thomas & Percy’s Submarine Splash. This Zamperla Barnyard ride opened on 8 April 2015 as part of the Thomas Land expansion, alongside Flynn’s Fire Rescue and Captain’s Sea Adventure.
The ride is themed around Toby, the brown tram engine from Thomas & Friends. Once seated, Toby rises into the air, begins to rotate and tilts during the ride cycle, creating a fun moving tram ride with views across the surrounding Thomas Land attractions.
Toby’s Tram Express has a minimum height requirement of 0.95m, and guests under 1.05m must be accompanied by an adult.
Toby is one of the classic Thomas & Friends characters, first introduced in The Railway Series books before appearing in the television series. Toby is a tram engine who works with his coach Henrietta on the Island of Sodor. His boxy tram design makes him instantly recognisable among engines such as Thomas, Percy, James, Gordon, Henry and Emily.
Thomas Land at Drayton Manor officially opened on 15 March 2008 on the former site of Robinsons Land. The area expanded in 2015 with more Thomas & Friends rides making Thomas Land one of the most recognisable themed lands in any UK theme park.
Thomas & Friends is based on The Railway Series books created by Reverend Wilbert Awdry, with the first book published in 1945. The television series first aired in 1984 and helped make Thomas the Tank Engine, Percy, James, Gordon, Toby and the wider Island of Sodor cast known around the world.
Drayton Manor Resort is located near Tamworth in Staffordshire and includes Drayton Manor Theme Park, Thomas Land, Drayton Manor Zoo and the Drayton Manor Hotel. Away from Thomas Land, the resort features Adventure Cove, Vikings and Frontier Falls, with major rides including Gold Rush, The Wave, Stormforce 10, Maelstrom, Accelerator, River Rapids, Thor, Loki, Jormungandr, The Haunting and Sheriff’s Showdown.
The Drayton Manor Hotel is located close to the theme park and offers standard rooms and themed rooms, including Thomas & Friends rooms and Vikings rooms. With Thomas Land, Drayton Manor Zoo, Gold Rush, Frontier Falls, Adventure Cove, Vikings and resort accommodation, Drayton Manor is one of the leading UK theme park resorts for a full day out or short break.

Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast opened in Discoveryland at Disneyland Park on 8th April 2006. Designed by Walt Disney Imagineering, the attraction combines an Omnimover-style dark ride with an interactive shooting gallery and replaced Le Visionarium, the Circle-Vision 360° attraction which closed in 2004.
Evil Emperor Zurg is attempting to steal the crystallic fusion cells used to power the Little Green Mens space vehicles. Recruited by Buzz Lightyear and Star Command, guests board XP-41 Space Cruisers equipped with two laser blasters and a joystick allowing the vehicle to rotate through 360 degrees.
Riders fire at illuminated Z targets throughout the attraction, with different targets awarding different scores. The final total determines a Star Command ranking ranging from Star Cadet through to Galactic Hero at 999,999 points. The Disneyland Paris attraction features dialogue in both French and English and a Buzz Lightyear Audio-Animatronic during the mission briefing.
Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast is inspired by Disney and Pixars Toy Story franchise and characters including Buzz Lightyear, Evil Emperor Zurg and the Little Green Men. Other versions include Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters at Disneyland California, Buzz Lightyears Space Ranger Spin at Magic Kingdom and Buzz Lightyear Planet Rescue at Shanghai Disneyland. The former Hong Kong Disneyland version closed in 2017, while Tokyo Disneylands Buzz Lightyears Astro Blasters closed in 2024.
Discoveryland is Disneyland Pariss retro-futuristic interpretation of the traditional Disney Tomorrowland concept, drawing inspiration from science, invention and exploration. Attractions include Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain, Star Tours: The Adventures Continue, Orbitron, Les Mystères du Nautilus and Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast.
Disneyland Park opened as Euro Disneyland on 12th April 1992 and includes Main Street, U.S.A., Frontierland, Adventureland, Fantasyland and Discoveryland, centred around Sleeping Beauty Castle, Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant.
Disneyland Paris is located in Chessy, around 32 km east of Paris and includes Disneyland Park, Disney Adventure World, Disney Village and Disney Hotels. Disney Adventure World expanded significantly in 2026 with World of Frozen, Adventure Way and Adventure Bay joining Avengers Campus and World of Pixar. Development continues with The Pride Lands, La Terre des Lions, a new themed land inspired by Disneys The Lion King.
