A couple of weeks ago Chris was joined by a couple os friends (Sean Barnett, and frequent guest Peter Gold) in a tour of the NS Savannah. (That NS stands for Nuclear Ship, which is the merchant ship equivalent of a unicorn.) In this episode, Chris and Peter (a working merchant marine engineer) talk about the Savannah, civilian nuclear vessels in genral, and the concept of passenger freighters.

Brown, a WW2 Liberty ship moored across the pier from the NS Savannah. In this episode, Chris and Peter (a working merchant marine engineer) talk about Liberty ships and their science fiction equivalents.
