Too cut manually:
For each layer, cut away a square shape at each corner to leave a cross shape
Sizing: I used roughly 4 12x12 sheets of paper for this, usually the same sheet for multiple layers
- 12x12 sheet of paper - cut away a 4 inch square on each corner
- Cut down a 12x12 sheet of paper to 11x11 and cut a 3 inch square on each corner
- Cut down a 12x12 sheet of paper to 10x10 and cut a 2.5 inch square on each corner
- Cut down a 12x12 sheet of paper to 9x9 and cut a 2 inch square on each corner
- Cut down a 12x12 sheet of paper to 8x8 and cut a 1.5 inch square on each corner
- Cut down a 12x12 sheet of paper to 7x7 and cut a 1 inch square on each corner
- Cut down a 12x12 sheet of paper to 6x6 and cut a 0.5 inch square on each corner
