From the poll I put out, it appears a large majority of you are unaware of what KASSA (Keeping All Students Safe Act) is, and I don't blame you. I recently found out about it, myself. I want to go over it with you all and share how those of you in the United States can do a few simple things (advocacy!) that could really change things for autistic and otherwise disabled individuals across the entire country. We often talk about how things should be better, but it means nothing if we don't actually do something about it.
For those of you not in the States, feel free to join in and chat about concepts around restraint and seclusion, advocacy on the legislative level, and more.
