In this teaching, I address comments I've seen on social media from people wanting help to understand the Christian's unique relationship with our Jewish friends and family, as well as with Israel as a nation. I try to offer clarity around these issues and the importance of prayerful reflection amidst propaganda. I also encourage viewers to approach end-times prophecy with caution, to pray for those affected by the conflict, and to support the global Church, especially in regions like Iran.
Key points covered:
• A Heart for the Jewish People: Why Christians should pray for the Jewish people to recognize Jesus as the Messiah, while distinguishing between Jewish heritage and the geopolitical state of Israel.
• Judaism Then and Now: Exploring the differences between biblical Judaism and modern Rabbinic Judaism, and why Christians should not support efforts to rebuild the Third Temple.
• Rejecting Hatred: A call for Christians to love all people—Jews, Palestinians, and others—condemning hatred and dehumanizing rhetoric while promoting the gospel as the path to true peace.
Time stamps
0:21 Introduction and Welcome
0:45 Overview of Israel-Hamas Conflict
3:42 Purpose and Live Interaction
7:14 Christians’ Heart for Jewish People
9:51 Jesus as Messiah for All
15:00 God’s Plan for Jews and Gentile Inclusion
20:31 Warning Against Gentile Pride and Jewish Revival
30:13 Judaism’s Evolution and Temple Rebuilding
