A waitbar (or progress bar) allows you to visualize when a program will finish. The argument to the waitbar fills up the bar with the percentage specified. While it's a fun way to see how long you have to wait until everything is done computing, it is extremely time consuming, and I would probably recommend just outputting data to the command window using fprintf.
