In this Griptape experiment, we explore taking a black and white storyboard contact sheet, defining a specific look and lighting style, and transferring it across the rest of the images. This workflow allows you to quickly conceptualize different styles before committing to the final work.

We start by using an image grid splitter node to separate the contact sheet so we can focus on a single hero image. Using a text input box with various prompts and a ForEach group, we iterate through different styles and lighting conditions—like a 1950s vintage poster or a rainy evening—using the Seedream node.

Once the hero style is locked in, we use a Create Image List and a For Loop node to batch-process the remaining storyboard frames. By setting the hero image as the reference, Seedream transfers the exact shading and lighting style to the other images without adding new elements. Finally, we demonstrate how to isolate and fix a single output using the Replace In List node based on its specific index.
