Using a black and white image (a study on contrast/texture by Sven van Echelpoel), taking the RGB values of each pixel (which are equal, making a grey value). Rearranging the order by sorting the x- and y coordinate and bringing that back to the pixel art. X- and Y-value are used to create the pitch, R left, B right, G the middle.
So there are some pixels that are coloured when they appear, until all pixels are processed.
