I'm really happy with how this video turned out, it's got variation and honesty and encouragement and it felt really good to make it.
I had no idea there were so many fascinating books at the library, in English! (I'm in Sweden but there's a university next door to the library that welcomes students from all over the world, so there are a lot of English options.)
Isn't it so interesting though, how we block ourselves off from things that light us up. Because of time, because of feeling detached and uninterested and unable to feel like there is something to be excited about? Probably there are lots of other reasons too.
To want to learn, to dive into subjects is a different kind of excitement for sure. All these topics of origin of morality and religious differences and culture ascribing sacred and profane, it's all so fascinating.
So to tell about some of the footage here- in order, I'm at Allmedallen (probably spelled that wrong) library in Visby (pretty close to my old job at Mel's Diner) And I'm in my backyard (used some old footage from last summer with my neato cape) And then there was footage from the Medieval Christmas Market, that was so fun. And then the footage is from the beach at Tofta, walking my friend's dog.
