Lifespan.io’s annual Ending Age Related Diseases conference is returning! The event will take place from August 11th to August 14th, 2022, and a number of high-profile speakers have already been announced. Now in its fifth year, Ending Age Related Diseases has developed a reputation for bringing in some heavy hitters in the field of longevity and aging, and with speakers this year like Harvard’s George Church, who famously helped spearhead the human genome project and is now working on gene editing in hopes of bringing back the woolly mammoth, this year might be among the best ever.
Over the course of the four day conference they’ll feature cutting edge scientists presenting their most recent findings. This includes researchers working on the basic science of aging, as well as translational research. Historically these presentations have gotten into the weeds of the technical details while still making sure that the information was accessible and impactful for a broad audience, and that is expected to continue this year.
But this isn’t just a science conference, it’s also a business event. This year attendees will hear from leaders of companies like Repair Biotechnologies, Ichor Therapeutics, NOVOS and Humanity, and will explore the crossover between science and web3 with talks from the people behind VitaDAO, LabDAO, Enjin, DeFi Alliance, and more.
Topics for this year’s sessions will feature progress on the biomarkers of aging, as well as the financial and regulatory landscape of the longevity field.
Both paid and free ticket options are available, however, while paid ticket holders will have full access to the 25+ presentations, 6 panel discussions, and multiple one-on-one interviews as well as the ability to view any presentations, panels, or interviews they may have missed via the platform’s on-demand replay functionality.
