OMV, as a long-standing partner of the Vienna State Opera, is another time collaborating with CAPE 10 to bring the magic of opera to young people.
36 students aged 10 to 14 from the Music Middle School Wendstattgasse in Vienna's 10th district will have the unique opportunity to experience the world of opera up close.
The program includes an exclusive backstage tour of the Vienna State Opera, where the students will explore the stage, backstage areas, and dressing rooms, and even see artists preparing for their performances. They will also receive an introduction to the opera and attend a performance of The Magic Flute by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. To make the experience even more special, the students will enjoy the best seats in the house and will be treated to food and drinks in the Emperor’s Tea Salon.
This initiative is made possible through the partnership between OMV, the Vienna State Opera, and CAPE 10. CAPE 10 is dedicated to improving healthcare (both physical and mental), education, and participation opportunities for children and young people at risk of or affected by poverty in Vienna's 10th district. For OMV, education is a key foundation for a successful and sustainable future. Through our partnership with the Vienna State Opera we are actively committed to the next generation of artists and young audiences, enabling access to art and culture for young people.
