Cameron Highlands Resort in Penang Malaysia is a quaint small resort with in a picturesque setting. It's located 200 miles north of Kuala Lumpur.
The food is great as are the cocktails and wine selection.
My suggestion is 3 to 4 nights will be all you need.
Cameron Highlands was named after William Cameron, a British Government surveyor who discovered it in 1885 on a mapping expedition but failed to mark his discovery. It was not until 1925 that Sir George Maxwell recorded Cameron's discovery and developed it as a hill station attracting British colonials and expatriates, including British planters who realised the potential of its fertile mountain slopes for growing tea.
Cameron Highlands Resort, a Member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, is a tranquil haven set in the tea plantations and hills of Pahang. The resort offers an 18-hole golf course, a spa with jungle-inspired treatments, and traditional English dining. Each room is elegantly furnished with a four-poster bed, teak furniture, silk fabrics, and a golf course view from the balcony.
