For over four decades, Boris Blank has been shaping the development of electronic music as a member of the Swiss cult band Yello (“Oh Yeah”, “The Race”, “Bostich”). With “Resonance” Boris Blank released his third studio album, where he suspends the laws of space and time with a weightless fusion of ambience, trance and electro. The tracks were mixed in Dolby Atmos at the iconic msm-Studios in Munich/Germany. Boris Blank explains why he is absolutely convinced by Dolby Atmos, why he already thinks in terms of rooms when creating his music and why the collaboration with msm-Studios and the label IAN Records, which specialises in immersive music, is particularly fruitful.
