Muddy Funster created E.X.O. and released in 2023 on AtariAge. It eventually got special editions, an Atari VCS release, and is now the subject of today's video! People have praised this game as one of the best for the Atari 7800 so I plan on finding out if that's true or if it could never live up to the hype!
EXO stands for Elite Xeno Operations. I know you wanted to know!
I was not able to get this game to work on the Atari 2600/7800 Plus consoles. But my cartridge is also finicky. It is available on the VCS and does work on the Atari 7800 Prosystem. If anybody else can verify that it is Plus system compatible I will update this description!
