⚓A fleet-ing moment in a more than century legacy 🫡
In March 2026, the #AusNavy commemorated 125 years of service and as part of the historic milestone, 31 naval ships from Australia and allied navies were on display in Sydney Harbour for the Exercise Kakadu Fleet Review.
Fleet reviews are a naval tradition and since the 19th century have been held to commemorate special events. This occasion saw the largest assembling of international naval vessels in the harbour in more than 10 years and was one phase of Exercise Kakadu, a biennial maritime exercise with numerous countries hosted by #AusNavy.
We were especially excited watching Australian ships on show but it was extra special seeing the Anzac class frigates and Hobart class destroyers. We share a long history helping to sustain both types and we’re honoured to be aboard for the journey of their service careers. 🤩
