For a handful of Stanford GSB students, the Executive Challenge experience doesn’t end after they compete. Some return as alumni judges who volunteer their time and expertise to coach students during this unique event.

This year’s Executive Challenge welcomed nearly 200 alumni from the classes of 1968 through 2023, many of whom were returning judges. Many came to campus from across the U.S.; three flew in from other countries.

Hear from Albert Kim, Florian Dahlhausen, and Saloni Gupta, all MBA ’23, as they share reflections from their Executive Challenge experiences and see what a day in the life of an alumni judge looks like.
