Let's have a look inside a Varjo Aero VR headset. I am looking for how they have implemented USB2 devices on this headset. This is the main motivation for taking it apart.
I was not very happy with the Varjo Aero, a number of issues with comfort, picture and annoyance caused by the software and drivers that are required to use it.
This video starts with a discussion of USB-C and the VirtualLink interface standard. A brief look at the VirtualLink implementation on the Valve Index. Finally an attempt to determine how the VirtualLink Interface is implemented on the Varjo Aero.
