Alright, so it's time to get started on what happened to the series recently.
Like some viewers have pointed out, the series have been declining for a number of reasons, including lack of action, repetitive scenes, boring dialogue or a general sense of decline.
There're many reasons of why I believe this is happening, including school or procrastination, but one of the biggest ones, which is related to the lack of action criticism, is that I burned out from making them a long time ago, which is the reason why these are so rare now and why there're so few fights in Evolutioverse A4.
Another reason, which will be familiar, is the lack of motivation to work in the series, which has been caused by having to use noclip and greenscreeening 95% of the time, which has been more time-consuming and motivation-draining than I had anticipated.
Luckily, thanks to that feedback, many changes will come to the series for the better, including but not limited to:
- As I got burned up from making regular GSFs, the least important fights (like the one that is featured in this episode) will be SSB fights, which on that regard, this episode is the first one to use Smash Remix instead of 20XX, Crusade or Flash 2.
-Many of the episodes I had written will be scripted again, since they'd end up the same as the last episodes.
-The HP/FP/CP HUD will be removed entirely for future episodes, as it was an useless and way too limiting gimmick.
Of course, some of these changes will be gradual, as I need to unlearn the way of doing machinimas from the previous months, but I think that'll be for the best.
However, there're many other possible questions I want to ask to y'all viewers and fans for the future of the series:
- Do you want for Chapters 5-10 the adventures to take place in places other than TTYD's locations? I ask this because I myself want to do that, but then the title of the series would make zero sense considering everything past Chapter 9-10 already has nothing to do with Rogueport.
- Do you want to see a couple older episodes which were poorly made get additional scenes or even get completely remade?
- Do you want the party to get separated for Chapters 5 to 7 due to a certain encounter with someone who will be known now?
And remember, you can post your feedback and your ideas in the comment section, like different ways of fight scenes (that aren't SSB fights or GSFs) or lore theories, so don't be scared to do so!
