Thanks for all who submitted questions. I ended answering the following:
1. How accurate are evolutionary trees based on fossils or comparative anatomy alone?
To answer that we looked a great guardian article about a recent update to the dino evolutionary tree: theguardian.com/science/2017/apr/19/how-we-revealed-a-new-family-tree-for-dinosaurs
2. Is embryology proof of evolution, and was Ernst Haeckel a fraud? To answer this looked at different embyo images, including a wonderful bat series by Dr Dorit Hockman: livescience.com/24197-nikon-small-world-photo-winners.html
3. Have we ever witnessed the evolution of animals?
Here's one of many examples mentioned in the video: smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/london-underground-has-its-own-mosquito-subspecies-180958566
4. How and why did the male and female evolve?
The best answer seems to be that the sexes emerged as a way to stop mitochondria from fighting rivals inside our cells.
See the video about it here: youtu.be/ehuEaLvA1B4
Here's the paper with all the maths!: http://www.zoology.ubc.ca/let/pdfs/Hurst_Hamilton1992.pdf
5. Can parasitic memes evolve?
I answered this by looking at this odd case study of ED on the rise in communities with internet access: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5039517
6. Why are zebras harder to tame than horses?
