The evolution, retrospective, and history regarding the Pokémon video game series. Ever since Pokémon Red and Blue was released, a unique taste of RPG elements were introduced. Pokémon Gold and Silver, Ruby and Sapphire, Diamond and Pearl, and Black and White lead the way to Pokémon X and Y. To Generation 1’s original template, Generation 2’s breeding and genders, Generation 3’s abilities and natures, Generation 4’s physical/special move split, Generation 5’s hidden abilities, and Generation 6’s mega evolutions. Pokémon has come a long way since the old Gameboy days. Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire is testament to that end. Blending old and new in harmonious fashion.
