It's hard to believe it's been over 10 years since I uploaded my very first YouTube video in July 2010! In that time, I met and married my wife, had three kids, and had many experiences I simply couldn't have expected.
Now, on the cusp of reaching 23 million total views and 200,000 subscribers, I thought it would be fun to do a retrospective, going back to my very first video and hitting some highlights along the journey from hobby to ministry to vocation. Some of it is hard for me to watch now, as I hold myself to a higher standard. The inconsistency drives me nuts!
Statistics for videos published, total views and subscribers are to scale (roughly one month every 4 seconds), track all the viral growth and plateaus. It took some clever programming hacks to make that happen.
