This video is about my new book, The DNA Delusion: the delusion that DNA in the form of our genes directs the formation of a human infant from a single fertilized cell. DNA is also is credited with directing all activities inside of the cell. It's the "nerve center" of the cell. Of course, supposedly, DNA directs the formation of the fully formed bodies of all organisms. DNA does code for the manufacture of all proteins. But is it capable of doing all of these other fantastic functions it is credited with? Is it a "God molecule"?
